Realism painting | Carolyn 2

Bert tried everything he could do to win her heart back. This second painting is a testament to how he tried.

A small painting and quite a challenge to paint.

Bert had initially hoped Carolyn would want this but after she had seen a photograph online she told him it was ‘crap’.

The story behind Carolyn 2

This is the most technically accomplished portrait that Bert Ernie has ever done. It is a master at the height of his powers. Intended to impress his ex-girlfriend, Bert pulled out all the skills he possessed in painting this photorealistic work of art.

When Bert showed this painting to Carolyn, she was not impressed at all. She hated it so much she even had a legal restraint imposed on its publication. Which has now lapsed.
