Carolyn 1a small painting

After Bert broke up with his girlfriend Carolyn he painted her portrait. Whilst they were an item he had gone an created a series of photos to use as the basis because Carolyn had asked him to paint her portrait.

This one, taken at the Yarra Glen cemetery, was an interesting composition and was the first of two portraits he painted of her.

When Bert showed her the painting she hated it. Same with the second version as well. Oh well.
