Bernardinia photorealist painting of a racehorse

Photorealism painting | Bernardini
If you want an inexpensive photorealist painting of a racehorse then drop Bert a line.
Great painting but ordinarily Bert wouldn’t paint such an image. This is another commissioned piece which he never got paid for.
Bert Ernie will never paint a commissioned artwork again. Never. People have ripped him off three times.
Dimensions: 60x80cm.
Painted: A2009.
Materials: Acrylic on MDF board.
Availability: Private collection.

The story behind Bernardini

This painting is of an American racehorse named Bernardini. The original image came from a magazine on racehorses (Bluebloods – May 2009).

This Bernardini painting was a commissioned painting which, when completed, Bert was never paid. He was even asked to paint out the name of the horse after the painting was finished, despite being initially instructed to copy the photo exactly. Once it had been repainted (the area of red covering the saddle), the commissioner still wouldn’t pay. Bert wasn’t happy at all.
