Bert’s eyes see the truth. And he once painted that truth; mimicked its reality as closely as possible. Nobody looked at those paintings.

Then one day he realised he could unleash his true creative mind onto a digital canvas. At first the art was crap. But slowly it was walked in the direction towards improvement.

Bert’s art reflects his genuine joy of following the colors and forms which would suggest the other thing. The thing that wasn’t actually painted. But it is there if you look.

Not everybody will see Bert’s artistic vision/s. They will arrive at their own thing. It depends on the mind’s eye of the viewer.
