The story behind Map of space 2

Densely packed arm of an old galaxy on the other side of the universe.

500 billion light years away it sits there slowly decaying into energised dust.

Occasionally stellar birth occurs; a consequence of older exploded suns shooting their ends at one another.

However, death is the predominate action in this area of space.

Even if that death is incredibly beautiful and geometric in design.
