Armistice daya very sad painting

The story behind Armistice day
The poppies that bloom in fields so red, A symbol of lives cut short in their prime, Their sacrifice echoes in our heads, As we stand in silence and take our time.
To remember the brave who fought and died, In a war that seemed endless, with no end in sight, Their bravery and courage will never subside, Even as their memories fade with the light.
So let us take this day to mourn and pray, For the fallen and the families they’ve left behind, And let us vow to work towards a brighter day, Where wars and violence are a thing of the past, confined.
