The story behind Obliterated.
Everywhere Bert Ernie goes in Footscray there is someone screaming, shouting, passed out or fighting. This is why Bert decided to paint an incredibly intense painting on this most difficult subjects. And the best way to do it is to show some drugged out scrote but in an incredibly beautiful way. Which is the exact opposite of who these people are – they are indeed very ugly people.
