Astute Class submarine
I completed the first Astute painting many years ago and have another half completed. This will be quite a large series of paintings.
The Astute series of paintings are about many things – paying homage to engineers and construction workers as well as the bigger question of war and violence. Some of the Astute class paintings planned are also incredibly abstract for a photograph. Most people have no ide what it is that they are looking at,
- Painting size – To be determined, probably 84x119cm.
- Materials – Birch panel with Chromacolour acrylic paint.
- When – Maybe 2022.
- Expected difficulties – The entire painting is incredibly complex and requires a lot of concentration.
