Photograph – Early morning sun #3 – Yarra Glen – 28-05-2015 – The glow of sunrise
Bert Ernie is blessed with a remarkable landscape literally in his backyard. Part of the responsibility of being an artist is sharing the beauty of their surrounds or ideas – here in the Yarra Valley the mornings offer the best opportunity to do so.
This photograph shows the landscape as it gets quite steep to the right of the image. There is a track which is somewhat overgrown but leads to the furthest and highest part of the property.
Some mornings if conditions are just right the sun will make everything in a landscape glow. This photograph was taken just as that orange glow that transforms the Yarra Valley had just begun. The visual beauty is just breathtaking. That’s why Bert chose to use a HDR setting on his camera to capture this remarkable image. There are a few other photographs which were taken earlier on this particular morning which demonstrate the orange glow which transforms the countryside for a few breathtaking minutes.
