The story behind Jesus

This painting depicts the first communist, Jesus Christ, in vividly colored robes. I painted a portrait of Jesus for my friend Rebecca Parker in a single day! It took 12 hours, and at 30x17cm, this painting is quite small. Once I completed the painting, Rebecca told me that she didn’t want it. Photorealism? Well, maybe not. It was soon gratefully accepted by a devout Christian friend of mine – Ray.

Many would disagree with the description of Jesus Christ as a communist. I would strongly disagree. He preached ‘community’ at every turn. It’s the Marxists that have perverted the idea of community.

Verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you; it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
