When I ship a painting I will pack it securely so that it will withstand your typical rough handling from the couriers. My paintings are unique and have been made with a lot of love, so I will overpack them to ensure you get them free from any damage.

Packing the painting

For a small painting (less than 30cm on any side) I can protect the artwork with the following layers.

  • 2 layers of 3mm foam wrap.
  • 1 layer of 10mm bubble wrap
  • 4 cardboard corners
  • 1 layer top & bottom of 3mm MDF
  • 2 layers of 10mm bubble wrap
  • 1 layer of pallet wrap film

For a medium sized painting (up to 62x92cm) I can protect the artwork with the following layers.

  • 2 layers of 3mm foam wrap.
  • 1 layer of 10mm bubble wrap
  • 4 cardboard corners
  • 1 layer top & bottom of 5mm Masonite
  • 2 layers of 10mm bubble wrap
  • 1 layer of pallet wrap film

For a large painting I can protect the artwork with the following layers.

  • 2 layers of 3mm foam wrap.
  • 2 layers of 10mm bubble wrap
  • 4 cardboard corners
  • 1 layer top & bottom of 5mm Masonite
  • 3 layers of 10mm bubble wrap
  • 1 layer of pallet wrap film

Shipping the painting

I can ship my paintings to anywhere. I will only ship the paintings using a reliable carrier which has tracking and insurance to the value of the painting. There are carriers that I trust. They are.
